The second round of the National Motocross Championship this Sunday at the Victoria Racetrack Garuga is bound to have an exciting mix.
While the fans expected to be entertained by the tight battles in the MX championship, a rally sprint contest has been added to spice up the day’s events.
While the Katende and Blick brothers, Filbert Muwonge, and other junior riders lit up the first round on the high in January, eyes will be on the top contenders yet again as they aim at maintaining the pace.
The Katende brothers; Miguel and Jonathan will be up for a fight with Zion Wekesa in the MX65.
Filbert Muwonge will have to faze off close rival Jamairah Makumbi to the MX50 category.
The weekend’s race will as well provide a good outting for the riders ahead of the regional championship next month at the same venue.
Among the rally drivers expected to take on the sprint include; Hassan Alwi, Fred Busulwa among others.
The drive-out will help the drivers fine-tune their cars ahead of the second round of the national rally championship on March 11-13.
